Idc what you or anyone says, socialism works and it does its job rather efficiently albeit at an often slow pace. The problem is, it's not meant to create equity or improve people's lives. It's whole purpose is to break down a society from the inside, create social instability, pit groups against each other, and basically make a country ripe for revolution and pave the way for communism. Socialism isn't just about economics, it's about society in general and shaping things for the society's downfall.
When your metric is "does this economic system end in death and starvation" then socialism is a roaring success.
